TEDi relies on quality with seal

TEDi attaches great importance to the quality of products. Therefore they are examined carefully not only from our internal Quality Assurance but also by independent experts. Some products for babies and young children bear the seal of approval “tested for contaminants”, and for that reason they are being tested for pollutants by the independent and accredited institute Dr. Graner & Partner GmbH.

The seal of approval goes beyond the control for pollutants regulated by law, taking into account also recognized standards or requirements of other recognized institutions. Therewith the seal characterizes those products, for which there exists no fear for bearing health risks according to the state of knowledge.

“The satisfaction and of course the safety of our customers is our top priority. Therefore, we have resolved upon this voluntary testing of our products. With the Dr. Graner institute we have found a reputable partner who controls our products extensively for pollutants”, explains the manager of TEDi Quality Assurance Jörg Schwerdtfeger.

The Institute analyzes both products from current production and test pieces of the delivery of goods arriving at the headquarters. Therewith they are not only tested for harmful substances that occur during production, but also on possible contaminants and substances that may have occurred during transportation and storage of goods. Only after approval of the Dr. Graner institute, go the goods on sale. Additionally, TEDi has instructed the testing institute to take and check samples from all branches.
